Tennis Scholarships for NETS Volunteers
NETS is pleased to offer financial assistance to Superior High School tennis players who want to improve their skills by attending a tennis camp.
Recommended camps include:
- Tennis and Life Tennis Camp at Gustavus Adolphus (St. Peter, MN)
- University of Minnesota Nike Tennis Camp (Minneapolis, MN)
- University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawk Tennis Camps (Whitewater, WI)
- Other camps can be considered upon request.
Priority is given to Spartan Tennis Players who have volunteered for NETS, primarily through the
Spartans Tennis Camp
during the summers.
- Maximum available per person is $400.
- $100 in scholarship funds can be awarded for each week of volunteering in the 2018, 2019, and 2020 Spartan Tennis Camps.
- Commitment to volunteer in June 2021 will qualify players for
scholarship funds for a 2021 summer tennis camp.
- Scholarship applicants who have not volunteered on behalf of NETS will be limited to a $100 scholarship.
- There are limited funds available, so it's possible that not all requests can be honored.
NETS is not responsible for transportation, registration, or in any other way liable related to attendance at any tennis camp. We can help out with the dough, though.
Funds will be disbursed upon proof of attendance at an approved camp.
