For the second time in my life, I'm diving head first into my athletic love - TENNIS!
After Coach Winkle invited me to help coach the Superior Spartans tennis teams, it became obvious
that we needed to start developing tennis talent earlier in the Superior area. Thus, NETS was born.

Hi. My name is Barry Dahl. I've been a Superior resident since 1995. I've lived in 13 cities in seven different states; but I've lived in Superior longer than any of those other places.
My tennis life started when I played high school tennis in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and then ran a summer tennis club there for eight summers. Overall, I was a tennis instructor for a dozen years, a racket stringer during those same years, and a tennis tournament director over much of the same time span.
Although my love for tennis didn't die, I recently survived a 20 year period where I played very little. Now I'm back, with the goal of increasing interest in and access to tennis opportunities in Superior.
At left, I'm with tennis legend John Newcombe at his tennis ranch in Texas. I spent a week there in 2018, spending about 30 hours on the courts over the 5 and a half days. What a great experience!
