Youth Summer Camp
The 2022 Spartan Tennis Camp is now open for registration for Superior students entering grades 2 through 8 in Fall 2022.
Learn the basics of tennis technique and start playing the game with coaches Mark and Barry. No experience required or expected.
If you need a racket, we can help with that. Tennis balls provided.
Bring a water bottle. Also check the weather, since Superior tennis players often depend on having various clothing layers that allow them to keep up with the changes in the weather. Indoor facilities available in case of inclement weather.
Lessons for Future High School Players!
Coach Barry Dahl offers individual or small group lessons during the summer months for players who are interested in participating on the Superior Spartans high school tennis teams.
Generally speaking, that means those who are entering the 7th or 8th grades in the fall. If your player is entering the 9th grade then he/she is eligible to start high school tennis activities and should do so.
To indicate your interest in lessons, please send Coach Dahl an email
and tell him about your player (age, gender, experience, etc.) to start the conversation.
Many other schools in the area have players who start playing high school tennis in the 7th grade. To stay competitive, Superior players also need to begin working on their tennis skills prior to starting 9th grade. That's where NETS comes in.
